I found something very interesting, about this new “search engine” called searchmash, that I read about, and checked out. It was simple and reminded me of google. One real neat feature is that the focus is shifted to the searchbox by default and the “Search” button is removed and replaced by an ajax instruction to press enter instead. I accidentally realized that you can reorder the results. Though this seems fun right now, it can be the most powerful thing next to pagerank.
This, along with a little url menu which offers some useful features. But something caught my eye, the screenshots searched for one term-flowers. Only one website on earth uses “flowers” as a demo search term: Google. (I’m so smart)
After a little probing, I found this
I tried digging this and found that this was already dugg a few hours ago and had a considerable number of diggs.
