Got some changes done. Most notable is the icon navigation at the top. I did it for pingpulse and I liked it so much, I selfishly wanted it for myself too.
I feel that this will catch on actually, with plenty of good iconsets available, it’s only a matter of time.
And for all you internet sleuths who comment with “dead link” reports, they’re placeholders for pages that will come soon.
Quite a few weblogs are seeing renovation now, including PingPulse and Shawn McDonald’s, amongst the ones I follow.
Also installed a heatmap tracking system which will make it interesting to see what visitors do on my site. if you’re interested in seeing what is happening, click on the “clickheat” link at the bottom, use guest/asymmetry as the login/pass combination and you can see a very nice implementation of what people do.
Wow, I love those giant icons. Where did you find them?
someone one’s loving tango eh?
neat work, i stil dont understand why you like`em big. but they are nice. maybe i should do some icon therapy for my blog too.
These are from the tango iconset, designed for gnome and other opensource projects.
You can get the SVG formats at http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Desktop_Project
For lack of a better reason, I’m gonna throw in the “I’m a guy, I like ‘em big argument”
i’m liking the clean header, thought i’ve never seen the previous version of your blog, and also being a first time visitor.
but i must say i can almost smell the coffee from your color scheme, makes me feel like im at the breakfast table..

I didn’t think of it as coffe, but now that you mention it ^_^ I love coffee. maybe I subconciously picked this scheme to showcase my love for coffee!!!
