Even, I have a nice idea of mashup, combining all social networking and other updates like twitter into one and display.

I didn't know rtm had that functionality. However I seek to create a library that allows any program to get messages via twitter.

Also it'll run locally, so you can shut down your computer, etc via twitter

This is i think reverse remember the milk. What they want you to do using RTM is send RTM the note, reminder, event or whatever and it reminds you.

what you want users to do is: simply twitter ahead, in case of "class tomorrow" and the reminder.

RTM and your idea somewhat seem similar, although if you explained more with a variety of examples, it would be better.
