In fact, the extension is quite simple. All it has to do is know the author's blog site by default, and if he decides to do it on a zip file, [path to blog]/admin.php?ocaction=install&ocoption=plugin&ocpath=<path to zip file> and then it's a piece of cake. it's gonna be too simple to write :) writing a simple firefox plugin isn’t too hard.
